A 2003 graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinarian Medicine, Dr. Emery has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and opened Seatown in 2016. She grew up in Kirkland and currently resides in Edmonds with her Great Pyrenees Shiro, a senior tripod cat Mufasa, and son. Dr. Emery, widowed in 2020, has two college-aged children, enjoys skiing, traveling, and working out.

Dr. Kari Emery

Seatown Founder & Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Eskesen has spent most of her life in the Seattle area, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington. After completing Veterinary school at Washington State University in Pullman, she returned home to settle with her family in Seattle. Most of Dr. Eskesen’s days are spent caring for her children, her husband John, and her cat Fig. She enjoys reading, cooking, creating art, and climbing.

Dr. Brandi Eskesen

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Anne Heskel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She practiced in Boston and NYC before moving with her family to the beautiful PNW in 2017. Dr. Heskel enjoys combining her love of problem solving with the intricate details of medicine and the adorableness of dogs and cats. She shares her home with her husband, two daughters, her sweet beagle, and two socially inept cats.

Dr. Anne Heskel

Dr. Lam earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University in 2019. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Lam pursued her Veterinary Degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London, graduating in the summer of 2024. She has a special interest in dermatology and soft tissue surgery and after completing her studies, Dr. Lam decided to return to her hometown of Seattle.

Dr. Alicia Lam

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Wu was originally born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to the United States during middle school. After completing her veterinary studies at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, she practiced veterinary medicine in Los Angeles before moving to Seattle in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, playing erhu (a 2-stringed Chinese musical instrument similar to violin) and travelling.
